JESCo, Inc (Jamison Electric Service Company, Inc) is in search of experienced Service Electricians to respond to our high volume of service calls in many metropolitan areas. We work on large numbers of residential, commercial and industrial properties throughout the country. With a skilled business leader who has clear vision, direction and business knowhow – we are moving toward the future.
A qualified candidate must have:
• Working truck or van
• All hand tools, benders, saws, meters, etc.
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Clean motor vehicle history and the ability to provide a certified 5 year report.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen.
• Understanding of Ohms Law
• Ability to translate meter readings
• Ability to handle sales, transactions, work orders, quotes, log & scheduling while providing the best customer service possible.
• Home computer with high-speed internet connection
• Minimum of State Journeyman Certification (where required by governing agencies)
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot efficiently and proficiently
• Present yourself in a professional and clean manner
• Respond to electrical service call throughout the assigned area
• On-call rotation after hours and weekends
• Ability to work in any environment under any conditions
• Up sell to clients
• Log transactions
• Manage Daily Work Orders
• Build rapport with customers for future growth
• Consistently provide excellent customer service with both internal and external clients.
Knowledge
• Basic wiring (Residential and Commercial)
• Ability to troubleshoot efficiently
• Blue Print and Schematic reading
• Motor Control
• Ohms Law
• Meter reading
• N.E.C.
• Local Codes
• Process which involves governing agencies
