This key position is primarily responsible for selling electrical repair, maintenance and installation services under the Company’s property management programs. Additionally, the sales representative will be responsible for account management and development of assigned company accounts and general contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
•All aspects of sales cycle, including prospecting for potential customers, making direct sales calls and sales presentations, preparing quotations and closing the account;
•Serve as the primary contact for contract customers;
•Submitting timely call and sales reports as required by the Managing Partner/CEO; and
•Providing customer feedback and input for improving the company’s programs and services.
Base Qualifications: The Sales Representative must have the following qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in outside direct sales of trade services and products to commercial accounts;
•Sales performance in two out of the last three years must have been at or above established sales quotas;
•A closer…strong track record of closing sales (i.e. 75% of qualified prospects);
•Direct interaction with customers in problem solving and satisfaction related situations;
•Effective negotiation skills; and
•Excellent communication and presentation (both written and oral), customer interaction and relationship management skills.
Nice-to-haves:
•Intensely customer oriented and driven;
•Good basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, active use of Internet for prospecting, information searches, customer information); and
•Independent worker with confidence to excel and work in a small business environment; well organized.

•Very high energy level; strong work ethic;
•Excellent people skills; ability to interact with people at all business and technical levels; and
•Capable of working with minimal direction and guidance.
